The same is true of creative problem-solving. Most people are content to stop brainstorming as soon as they have generated the first “right” answer — even if that solution is of low value and doesn’t really solve the problem. It takes discipline to keep at it and dig for more valuable ideas — to think more DEEPLY about creative solutions.
