Jeff, I love your explanation of how you progressively write your content in steps. I do it the same way using Evernote. For larger projects, I take a more visual approach, using a mind map to visually outline the project (pillar content, eGuide, course, etc.) before I start writing it.

In fact, this post inspired me to finish a piece I had been working on about how to use mind maps to banish writer’s block. It works really well because it leverages your brain’s natural associative abilities.
