Generate, cultivate and activate higher-value ideas using visual thinking

Content creators: What if I told you you’re missing a big opportunity to elevate the quality of your thinking as well as the value of the content you produce?

To a large extent, the tools we use shape our thinking, either limiting it or giving it wings to fly.

Plus, it stands to reason: The tools that empower the highest value ideas aren’t necessarily the ones that EVERYONE is using to churn out content.

Most content creators rely on digital notetaking tools to capture, organize, distill and publish their thinking. But these apps tend to keep your thinking focused on the minutiae of your ideas and don’t make it easy to take a bigger-picture view of them.

Their card-based user interfaces tend to emphasize linear thinking and only give you a rudimentary sense of the potential connections and patterns that may be lurking within your ideas and research.

One caveat: I’m not out to bash note-taking tools. I use Evernote and Notion extensively in my content creation process. But for those times when you’re looking for something more, you need to look beyond your favorite note-taking app.
